This 1 Ruble Banknote is a striking blend of colors, including shades of brown, green, red, yellow, and white, and measures 105 x 53 mm in size. The majority of the banknote features a pale yellow-green security underprint, characterized by wavy lines, adding to its visual appeal.
On the obverse side of the banknote, you'll find the USSR coat of arms positioned in the upper left corner. This iconic emblem is set below a semi-frame adorned with a plant motif, and above it, a cartouche with inscriptions. The denomination is prominently featured in the center of the banknote, accompanied by an inscription above and the date below.
Flipping to the reverse of the banknote, you'll discover a visually captivating composition of multicolored abstract elements forming a frame adorned with additional cartouches. The denomination, printed in red, takes center stage in the upper half of the frame, while a unique feature is the repetition of the denomination in 14 different languages within a cartouche set against a white background in the lower portion of the frame. Another cartouche, featuring inscriptions and printed in green, adorns the bottom of the frame.
This 1 Ruble Banknote stands as a testament to the artistry and design expertise of its era, reflecting the rich history of the USSR.
