Measuring 114 x 58 mm, this banknote boasts a striking design. Its rich color palette, featuring brown on ochre, pale yellow-green, and various multicolor elements, adds to its visual appeal.

On the obverse side of the banknote, a prominent figure graces the left side. This is none other than King Stefan III of Moldavia, more commonly known as Stephen the Great. He was a renowned historical figure, celebrated for his leadership and contributions to Moldavia. The inclusion of his image on the banknote pays tribute to his enduring legacy. Additionally, the banknote showcases the national arms at the upper center right and the bank's monogram in the upper right corner.

Flipping the banknote to the reverse side, you'll find the focal point: the Monastery at Capriana. Capriana Monastery, known locally as Mănăstirea Capriana, is one of the oldest monasteries in Moldova, located amidst the picturesque and serene surroundings of the Capriana Forest. Its history dates back to the 15th century, with records indicating that it was founded during the reign of Stephen the Great (Stefan cel Mare) of Moldavia. This makes it one of the country's most historically significant monastic institutions.
