These include a stylized bow and arrow, serving as a registration device, which adds a unique artistic touch to the design. Additionally, you'll find a depiction of a sword and its scabbard, a symbolic representation of courage and strength.

The Colegio de San Nicolas de Valladolid, a significant historical institution, is also featured on this side. Furthermore, the banknote pays tribute to Jose Maria Morelos, a prominent figure in Mexican history known for his role in the country's struggle for independence.

The reverse side of the 20 Pesos Banknote boasts a series of intricate elements. Among these is a bank guilloche, a decorative and often intricate pattern used for security and artistic purposes on currency. Additionally, the banknote showcases a captivating image of the "PIRAMIDE DE QUETZALCOATL" or the Quetzalcoatl pyramid situated in Teotihuacan. This ancient pyramid holds archaeological and cultural significance in Mexico.

A snake, stylized bow and arrow, and a bank seal further contribute to the design, creating a rich tapestry of symbols and artistry. Notably, this particular banknote does not incorporate a security thread or watermark as seen in some other currency designs.
