A "Radar" serial number on a banknote is a fascinating feature in which the serial number reads the same forwards and backwards, much like the word "radar." Collectors prize such serial numbers for their rarity and uniqueness, often considering them as fancy serial numbers. These numbers can significantly enhance the value of a banknote, especially when the note is in excellent condition and part of a series or denomination sought after by collectors.

The Rs 10 banknote boasts a palette of pale brown-violet on a multicolor underprint, adding to its visual appeal.

On the obverse side of the Rs 10 banknote, you'll find the iconic image of Mahatma Gandhi on the right, the Reserve Bank of India's seal on the lower right, and the Ashoka Pillar on the left. The reverse of the banknote features a captivating scene with the heads of a rhinoceros and an elephant behind a central tiger, creating a vivid representation of India's rich biodiversity and wildlife.
